13 Март, 2010 - 02:02 — SilverКлюквенные приключения отечественных супергероев не ограничатся недавним ван-шотом Hulk - Winter Guard, а неожиданно продолжатся в виде лимитки Darkstar and The Winter Guard. Неизвестно сколько матрешек заплатило КГБ, но прежней команде создателей из Дэвида Галлахера (David Gallaher) и Стива Эллиса (Steve Ellis) выбили на это дело целых три номера:

Атлант-военачальник Крэнг (Krang) незаконно врывается в территориальные воды Российской Федерации и лишь Зимняя Стража (Winter Guard) способна не только остановить злодея, но и не дать осуществиться некому дьявольскому плану. Их цель - предотвратить гибель всего мира и выйти победителями, кроме того гостями первого номера станут небезызвестные Агенты Атласа (Agents of Atlas). Первый выпуск в июне.

Для них что Минск что Москва..главное на М и главное что все это когда то было СССР а значит Раша))) Был бы столицей Питер, они бы Пермью его назвали если б знали что такое Перьм!

зато в комнате ребят в сериале друзья весит постер Кенгуру Боксер на русском)))
там много такой клюквы. в комнате моники в период её отношений с
детективом магнумомричардом над кроватью тоже висит какой-то советский плакат.помоему там декораторами были русские, если я правильно помню
Она мертва вроде, её же Моррсион убил и торжественно похоронил во время беспорядков в Париже.
Но у Лоеба в Халке потом была другая, с рыжими волосами.

Рыжая померла в том уан-шоте, эта их очередная. Они им там суперсилы делают приколачивая ДНК оригинальной.
Чего-то Даркстар на Мунстоун слишком похожа, да и слишком много их. Нет чтобы норм персонажа сделать и оставить в живых.
Hello. I am the author of HULK: WINTER GUARD and the upcoming DARKSTAR AND THE WINTER GUARD limited series. I have always been a big fan of these characters - and I hope to do them justice. I do not want this book to be a cranberry parade. Steve Ellis used to live in Russia. And I'm a student of Russian mythology and literature. He and I have worked very hard to make this book fun and enjoyable. We've done a dramatic amount of research. I hope you will enjoy it.
The Red Guardian's shield is supposed to be crest from the coast of arms. He serves the Russian Federation; I thought it was time that he stood out a little more. We explain why he has a different shield in the book.
The goal is to treat these characters with respect and integrity, while creating something epic and grand.
The Winter Guard should be its own team - not the Russian version of the Avengers.

i think this new shield is way better then the previous one. maybe next time artists would draw real russian coat of arms, instead of this one.

Inside the book, the shield looks a little more official.
It is not exact, of course, but it is close.
It is stylized for ease of illustration - the same way the costumes of Captain Britain, Captain America, and Union Jack are.
We reduced the colors on it so that it wouldn't clash, while keeping the spirit of the original shield.
The red/white color combination is confusing because it's a pretty much recognizable feature of the Serbian and Polish coats of arms.
Even without a shield he doesn't quite look Russian (mostly because of the dominance of the black color in his costume, which makes him look badass though), but the 'Red Star' shield did a fair job of balancing his image as a Russian patriotic superhero. I wouldn't say the same about the new one.
These are all valid points. The black in Red Guardian's costume serves a purpose. But, thank you for addressing it.
Quick question:
Would you prefer the shield were:
1: gold design and red background
2. imperial black design and red background
definitely gold design and red background

Sorry for the doubt, just for us in Russia a lot of pranksters. Still, the Big Bear looks like a terrible stereotype.))
But the shield of a Red Guardian looks much better than before. More work on the colors. You did the right thing, what with this issue immediately appealed to us.
